Responsibilities: • Delivering and collecting mail and packages on a prescribed route. • Loading and unloading mail and parcels, both manually and with the use of equipment. • Sorting mail in delivery sequence for assigned routes. • Returning mail collected, undeliverable mail, and submits monies and receipts to post office. • Providing customers with postal information and responds to their queries. • Maintaining professionalism and effectively communicating with the public, co-workers, and supervisors. • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections. • Ensuring the vehicle used for delivery is clean, serviced, and in good working condition.
