Performs financial modeling to support well-informed negotiations, anticipating issues resulting in the ability to reach sustainable and good faith contract terms.
Understands general market dynamics around value-based programs, follows trends and changes in regulations and business practice, follows local and national trends affecting home health, community-based care, and post-acute services, and communicates with senior leadership. Incorporates this knowledge into planning, analytics, and summaries.
Develops a strong understanding of VNSNY strategic business objectives under value-based programs and general understanding of capabilities within business unit operations. Develops trusting relationships with VNSNY leadership team.
Collects and analyzes data required for corporate wide monitoring of value-based programs. Coordinates report production as needed. Summarizes, creates, and distributes reports as needed.
Participates in interdepartmental work groups and ensures that cross-enterprise risks and opportunities are identified and escalated to key stakeholders. Assists in facilitating decisions and removing barriers. Provides qualitative and quantitative analyses to draw conclusions and drive decision making.
Demonstrates department’s commitment to excellent customer service through prompt response to all internal and external customers. Represents the department’s capabilities and mission effectively to internal and external customers.
Assists in the design of presentations regarding reimbursement strategy to management.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
