Employee income tax rates vary based on income, starting from 0% for up to 5.4M IDR, and increasing incrementally to 34% for income 1400M IDR and above. Non-residents are taxed at a flat rate of 20%.
The minimum wage requirement varies based on local government regulations ranging from 2,187,526 IDR in Central Java to 5,067,381 IDR in DKI Jakarta. Hourly wage for part-time workers is calculated as monthly wage/126.
