Responsibilities: • Overseeing the tax department and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. • Preparing and reviewing tax returns, reports, and other tax documents. • Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profits. • Providing guidance on tax implications of business decisions and transactions. • Coordinating audits by various taxation authorities and managing tax disputes. • Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensuring that the company is in compliance. • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to provide tax advice and planning. • Training and mentoring junior tax staff.
