Statutory Benefits

Mandatory benefits in Buenos Aires

Income tax ranges from 5.00% to 35.00% based on monthly salary brackets.
The national minimum wage is 296,832 ARS per month.
Payments for Income Tax Withholding, National Pension, National Social Security, National Health Insurance, ART, and Mandatory collective life insurance are made to Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos between 8 to 11 of the following month.
Working hours shall not exceed 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week. Overtime is limited and paid at a higher rate.
Employer contributions include 12.16% for Pension Fund, 6.00% for Health Insurance, 6.00% for National Employment Fund, 2.00%-5.00% for Injury Insurance, and 176 ARS for Life Insurance.

Employees are entitled to 14 to 35 calendar days of annual leave depending on the length of service.
2 consecutive calendar days of paternity leave.
Termination requires justification except for certain conditions. Notice period and severance pay depend on length of service.
Up to 3 months probation period with 15 days notice required for termination.
