Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a comprehensive legal framework for the organization. • Provide legal advice and counsel to management and staff on a wide range of legal and business matters. • Manage the legal department, including budgeting, hiring, and training. • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents. • Monitor and respond to legal developments and changes in the law. • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Represent the organization in legal proceedings and negotiations. Requirements: • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to a state bar and in good standing. • At least 5 years of experience in a legal setting. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of corporate law and compliance. • Experience with contract and intellectual property law. • Knowledge of litigation and dispute resolution. • Experience with government regulations and compliance. • Knowledge of international law and regulations. • Ability to manage and mentor a team of legal professionals.
