Responsibilities: • Provide legal advice and counsel to the company on a variety of issues, including contracts, intellectual property, labor and employment law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance • Develop and maintain legal policies and procedures • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents • Monitor legal developments and advise management on the impact of changes in the law • Represent the company in disputes and litigation • Manage outside counsel and legal vendors • Develop and implement legal training programs • Coordinate and manage the company’s corporate compliance program Requirements: • JD degree from an accredited law school • Admission to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction • 3+ years of relevant legal experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong research and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Preferred Skills: • Experience in the legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions • Knowledge of corporate governance and securities laws • Understanding of the legal implications of technology and software • Experience managing a legal department • Ability to provide practical and creative solutions to legal challenges
