Responsibilities of an Entry-Level Accounting Assistant: • Assist with the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll • Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, ledgers, and bank statements • Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts • Prepare and submit reports to management and other stakeholders • Assist with the preparation of financial statements • Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports • Manage and maintain accounting software Requirements for an Entry-Level Accounting Assistant: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Skills for an Entry-Level Accounting Assistant: • Experience in using accounting software • Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
