Statutory Benefits

Mandatory benefits in C-C-Germany
Minimum 20 working days per year for a 5-day week, 24 days for a 6-day week, can increase to 30 days in some agreements.

The standard working week is 40 hours, 8 hours per day. The work week can be no longer than 48 hours, 10 hours per day if within six months the average does not exceed eight hours per day.
Eligible employees are entitled to sick pay of 100% for up to six weeks, then 70-90% for up to 78 weeks in three years for the same illness.
Employee contributions for health insurance (KV), long-term nursing care insurance (PV), pension insurance (RV), and unemployment insurance (AV).
Public holidays vary by region, approximately 10-13 days per year.
