Responsibilities: • Review and assess evidence to determine the feasibility of prosecution. • Prepare and present cases in court, which includes drafting legal documents, interviewing witnesses, and arguing motions and appeals. • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies to gather additional evidence and information. • Advise law enforcement personnel on legal issues pertaining to investigations and procedures. • Provide legal advice to victims and witnesses, ensuring they understand the legal process and their rights. • Work collaboratively with defense attorneys to negotiate plea agreements when necessary. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in the practice of law. • Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting prosecution. Requirements: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the state bar and in good standing. • Prior experience in a legal environment, such as internships or clerkships, is beneficial. • Excellent knowledge of criminal law and legal procedures. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
