Responsibilities:
•Conduct fieldwork to collect data on plant and animal populations, habitat characteristics, and environmental conditions
•Analyze and interpret ecological data to identify patterns, relationships, and trends
•Assist in the development of ecological surveys and research projects
•Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings
•Collaborate with team members to design and implement conservation and restoration projects
•Participate in public outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness about ecological issues
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
•Strong understanding of ecological principles and processes
•Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
•Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred skills:
•Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software
•Familiarity with statistical analysis software
•Knowledge of local flora and fauna species
•Experience with ecological monitoring methods
•Understanding of environmental regulations and policies
