Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver course syllabus and materials, ensuring that they meet the department's standards.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as research methods, and specific subjects of expertise.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
• Keep abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction.
• Hold office hours to help and advise students.
• Participate in campus and community events.
Requirements:
• A Master's degree in the subject to be taught is required, though a Ph.D. is often preferred.
• Prior experience in teaching at a college level is preferred.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent presentation skills.
• Must be able to work with diverse student populations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of work.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
• Knowledge of learning strategies and teaching methods.
