Responsibilities:
•Assist in developing and implementing public affairs strategies and campaigns
•Monitor media coverage and public opinion related to the organization
•Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials
•Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support public affairs initiatives
•Assist in organizing and executing events, such as press conferences and community outreach programs
•Maintain and update the organization's website and social media platforms with relevant content
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
•Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social media platforms
•Strong organizational and time management skills
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
•Knowledge of public affairs principles and practices
Preferred Skills:
•Experience with graphic design and video editing software
•Familiarity with public opinion research methods and tools
•Previous internship or work experience in public relations, public affairs, or related field
•Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin
