Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice and guidance on a variety of legal matters including but not limited to corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and compliance issues.
• Prepare, negotiate, and review company contracts, requests for proposals, and other legal documents.
• Develop company policy and position on legal issues.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings.
• Conduct and coordinate research into a variety of legal issues.
• Provide training to the company on legal topics.
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• Proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
• High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
