Responsibilities:
•Conducting individual or group therapy sessions with clients to address their mental health concerns
•Developing treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients
•Keeping detailed and accurate records of client progress and treatment plans
•Collaborating with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for clients
•Staying up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of psychotherapy
Requirements:
•A master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
•Completion of supervised clinical hours as part of a licensure or certification process
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to empathize with clients and create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment
•Ethical and professional conduct in accordance with relevant licensing and regulatory bodies
Preferred skills:
•Experience working with diverse client populations, such as children, adolescents, adults, or elderly individuals
•Familiarity with different therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or humanistic approaches
•Knowledge of trauma-informed care and understanding of the impact of trauma on mental health
•Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
•Proficiency in conducting assessments and formulating diagnostic impressions
